"Our extended family has just returned from another wonderful stay at Halfmoon Paradise. This was our 4th visit and number 5 is already booked for next year. As usual, we found the cottage to be clean, bright and spacious. The owners are constantly adding to and upgrading the amenities inside and out. We have always made great use of the paddle boat, canoe and paddle board but everyone loved the new kayak too.
Our littlest ones spent hours playing in the sandy beach area by the dock and the bigger ones enjoyed the excellent fishing and nightly campfires. The complete management team has always been amazing. Everyone is extremely responsive and goes out of their way to ensure that their guests have a wonderful stay. "Halfmoon Paradise cottage is a good spot to rest and catch up on sleep and fun. Our extended family of 10 enjoyed using the dock, spent time swimming and using the kayak and canoe, as well as fishing off the dock. The lake isn't large, but it is deep enough to support, small watercraft and watercraft activities. We found the cottage, clean and comfortable with a large deck where we enjoyed a couple of evening meals. The kitchen was adequately supplied with utensils, dishes and cooking tools to make our meal preparation's easy. "My family and I stayed at Eric‘s cottage for a week and loved every single minute of it! The bedrooms were wonderful, spacious and clean! The beds were very comfortable! The basement was a little party area for adults and kids which was a nice added feature! The lake was beautiful, clean and fresh. You can jump right off the dock into NO WEEDS (which is a must for me lol). The fishing was amazing. Halliburton is only a five minute drive from the cottage which was extremely convenient. "Eric's beautiful cottage is a 10/10! This was our second time staying at Halfmoon Paradise Cottage for Xmas. We love everything about the cottage! It is extremely large with 3 full bathrooms. Everything is immaculate. The view is outstanding. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit every night. It's five minutes from Haliburton and there are lots of beautiful winter hikes in the area. The communication with Eric, Leslie and Randy was quick and a minor issue was resolved immediately even though it was Christmas Day! The management team is amazing. "We recently stayed at your cottage for an adult getaway with a few other couples. It was fantastic!! The rooms were updated clean and very spacious!! The lot is very private yet very close to town. We made great use of all the amenities, had ourselves a little tourney with the horseshoes, air hockey and other games. We tried fishing off the dock and in the canoe. "Our family (1.5 - 73 years) thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Accommodations were comfortable and spacious: the dining table fit nine of us easily and there was room for three cooks in the kitchen. (Well, almost ;-) The sand area was a hit with the kids, the paddle boat and hot tub got lots of mileage. Noise travels readily upstairs to down: worth considering when planning sleeping arrangements. Hosts are accessible and quick to deal with concerns. Yes, right on the highway but not noisy and overlooking the lake and cottages: the other side of the lake sees the highway and cell towers. "Our extended family, consisting of 6 adults and 5 children, has just returned from an absolutely wonderful week at Half Moon Paradise. We have been renting cottages together for the past 5 years and this is the first one that we have ever rebooked for another visit, and we did this before our week here had even ended!  We found this cottage to be very spacious, well appointed, and sparkling clean upon our arrival. We loved the open area concept on the main level. It provided a great space for us to all gather together. The lower level family room was another great space for our children to play in.
There is a beautiful deck which runs the whole way across the back of the house and it was here that we enjoyed most of our meals, while admiring the lovely view.  We were fortunate to have great weather during our stay, so most of our time was actually spent outside. The little ones enjoyed playing on the large lawn and in the man made sandy area by the water. We also spent hours upon hours in the water and made great use of the canoe, paddle boat and paddle board.  We have an avid fisherman in our group and he was very successful fishing right of the end of the dock!  In closing, we just wanted to mention that we found the communications between ourselves, the owner, and his office staff to be seamless and we truly believe that they strive to ensure their renters have an enjoyable stay. "We spent a week at Half Moon Paradise cottage in late July and our stay was fantastic. The cottage was large, spacious and clean. All of the bedrooms were comfortable and the dining table easily accommodated our large group for family dinners. The views of the lake from both the cottage and the deck were excellent. The large dock was perfect for lounging on sunny days and the little ones enjoyed playing in the sand by the water. The paddle boat and canoe were used daily - as were the other games and activities (horseshoes, pool and air hockey). We enjoyed nightly campfires, although the grading around the fire pit could be improved so that there was less of a slope.
